A small project completed last week. Changing concrete roof tiles and replacing with 0.55 Zincal roof sheeting in new-rib profile and anchoring with class 4 tek screws, and this class of tek screw is very important as these tek screws are made from the same material as the Zincal roofing, as with conventional electroplated tek screws rust quickly causing cross contamination of rust to the Zincal roof sheets.

The best time to paint a Roof is away from the rainy seasons. Reasons - cooler temps help paint dry slower creating better bonds. With no rain the paint has time to cure.

Pressure cleaning a Roof too often can affect the integrity of a concrete roof, especially an aging roof tile. Otherwise recommended every 7 years.
